If you’re in a creative drought and looking to find inspiration, check out The Bold Italic’s The Sum in San Francisco, the publication’s first design conference. The conference, held at the SF Jazz building, starts Thursday, Nov. 6 (tomorrow!) at 8:00 a.m. and ends Friday, Nov. 7 at 5:00 p.m.
The Sum aims to energize attendees with fresh approaches on handling challenges they face within their own communities. Through five different interactive workshops and a wide range of innovative speakers and panels, The Sum seeks to spread creative output and makes sure you have the tools to get started on your own projects. Among the list of speakers are keynote Candy Chang, an urban planner and Senior TED Fellow, Zach Klein, co-founder of Vimeo and CEO of DIY.org, and Karen X. Cheng, co-founder of Giveit100 and whose video of her learning to dance in a year went viral.
There are still tickets left! Register here.
Attendees will receive an exclusive Plumb gift at check-in to help you jot down your ideas throughout the conference. If you spot our notebooks at the conference, join the conversation on Twitter or Instagram with hashtags #PlumbGoods and #theSUM.
