Meet Your Fellow FOKKer, Erika! It’s Our “Friendly Fridays” Feature!

Erika fully recognizes her Knock Knock Pad addiction. We're here for you, Erika.

We’re number one fans of our fans. (We’re sure you know how much you contribute to our existence.) So we want to thank you all with a column dedicated to you: “Friendly Fridays”! Twice a month, we will be featuring a certain friend and their Knock Knock stuff-related stories.

FOKKer: Erika Santa Cruz.

Location: Murrieta, California.

Occupation: I am currently teaching fourth grade as a long-term substitute. I have been subbing all year and keeping my fingers crossed for a full-time gig next fall. I’m teaching all subjects right now, but I really enjoy math and literature the most. Because I don’t have my own classroom, I haven’t implemented any Knock Knock products yet, but I have a whole library full of books that are desperately calling for the Personal Library Kit. I think it’ll help teach the kids responsibility and reminds me of trips to the library as a child. Also, as a K-6 teacher, I can’t wait to implement the I Read a Book Playtime Pad. As an educator, it is so important that your students read on a daily basis. With the pad, it will be an easy way to show that students understood what they read.

Erika’s to-do list. We admire her penmanship and polka-dotted doodles.

Favorite KK product? Why? I’m nuts about the notepads—like crazy nuts about them. I’ve purchased so many (not only for myself, but as gifts). It all started with the 11 Hours a Day Pad (note: this pad came out in our Fall 2007 line, but is now discontinued) to keep me on track with work and school. Not only do they help me stay organized, time-wise, but they bring a smile to my face every time I fill them out. I love pretty much all Knock Knock products; they add to my quirky personality and aid my stationery addiction.
