Our creative director and inaugural Plumb artist, Tucker Nichols, spoke with the New York Times about Plumb’s origins in this great write-up by Steven Kurutz. A brief taste:

Tucker Nichols wanted to be a jotter of ideas, a scribbler of sketches. But no notebook seemed right. He always ended up with half-filled pages and a vague dissatisfaction. His solution: Plumb, a line of notebooks that he and other artists designed to “maximize creativity.”
